Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 27, 2026

AI Rankly (“AI Rankly”, “we”, “us”) helps brands track and improve how they appear in AI assistant answers. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using AI Rankly you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address, password (hashed), and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account email and basic profile.
  • Workspace data — the brands, domains, competitors, prompts, topics, and settings you configure.
  • Generated tracking data — the answers AI engines return for your prompts, and the metrics we derive (mentions, positions, sentiment, citations).
  • Connected-service data — when you connect Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or a CMS (Webflow, Contentful, WordPress, Framer, etc.), we store the access tokens (encrypted) and read the data needed to provide the feature.
  • Billing data — handled by Stripe; we store a customer/subscription reference, not your full card details.
  • Usage & device data — basic logs, IP address, and product usage used to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
  • Run AI-visibility tracking and generate your analytics.
  • Create draft content and recommendations you request.
  • Process subscriptions and send service-related communications.
  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and security issues.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Google user data (Limited Use)

If you connect Google Analytics and/or Search Console, AI Rankly requests read-only access (Analytics and Search Console). We use this data solely to show you AI-referred traffic and search-query insights inside the product.

AI Rankly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer or sell this data, do not use it for advertising, and do not let humans read it except as needed for support with your consent, to comply with law, or for security. You can disconnect Google at any time in Settings → Integrations, which revokes our access.

4. Subprocessors

We share data with service providers strictly to operate AI Rankly, including: Stripe (billing), Supabase (database), Vercel and Railway (hosting), and AI model providers we use to run tracking and generate content (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Perplexity). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which removes your organization's data (subject to limited retention required for legal, accounting, or security purposes). Connected-service tokens are deleted when you disconnect or close your account.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, hashing for passwords, and encryption for stored third-party tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@airankly.io and we'll respond as required by law.

8. International users

We may process and store data in the United States and other countries. By using AI Rankly you consent to this transfer and processing.

9. Children

AI Rankly is not intended for anyone under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you.
